Taylor Alvarez serves as the Senior Director of Homeless Services at New Hope CORPS, responsible for the organization’s Homeless Outreach, Emergency Shelter and Permanent Supportive Housing Departments.

Taylor joined New Hope CORPS in 2020 as an Administrative Assistant to the organization’s executive team. Over the years, Taylor demonstrated exceptional capacity for complex work and served as a lead contract manager in 2021 and assumed her current position in 2023 overseeing the organization’s homeless and housing services.

Graduating from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s in Finance and a Master’s in Health Service Administration, Taylor brings with her a strong background in fiscal management and program building which has aided the organization in expanding its internal continuum of care to include an impressive offering of homeless outreach and housing opportunities for the Miami Dade County community.

Taylor’s passion for serving others is rooted deeply in her Baptist faith. Drawing inspiration from the Book of Mark, Verses 12:30-31 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these"  Taylor  give freely of herself both in her professional and personal life, mentoring youth as part of Christ Fellowship Church’s youth leadership team and working tirelessly as a voice for those in need.
