Harris Kaplan joined New Hope CORPS as Development Director in October 2025, bringing more than twelve years of strategic fundraising leadership to the organization. In his role, Harris oversees all development initiatives, driving sustainable philanthropic growth and spearheading a transformative capital campaign to expand New Hope’s residential treatment programs. His career reflects a strong record of connecting donor priorities with mission-driven impact and building philanthropic partnerships that advance organizational growth.
Before joining New Hope CORPS, Harris served as a Major Gift Officer at Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami, where he secured significant contributions in support of the school’s Transformation Together 2026 capital campaign. Previously, he advanced fundraising efforts in Washington, D.C., holding key development roles at the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health, The Brookings Institution, and the American Jewish Committee.
Harris holds a B.A. in Religion from the University of Florida. He earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2020 and is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Miami Chapter.
